Bonnet cleaning is a good method for cleaning carpets which are only lightly soiled and that require less than 1 hour for drying with normal ventilation. This technique is also great for office locations in upper stories, mall stores, and other jobsites that are far away from an area where truck mount operation is feasible. Additionally, a modified form of bonnet cleaning is used in our Turbo Scrub treatment of high traffic areas with ground in dirt and grease. |

Bonnet Cleaning uses a low-speed buffer to drive a pad dampened with cleaning solution to remove light soiling. |
Bonnet Cleaning |
|
Bonnet cleaning is a good alternative to hot water extraction in certain situations. In this process, the carpet is first vacuumed, and then a low-speed rotary buffer (or “bonnet”) is used to drive a pad dampened in cleaning solution. The vacuuming process removes dirt and debris imbedded in the carpet fibers. The small amount of cleaning solution in the pad then removes dirt and stains near the surface of the carpet. Because only small quantities of water are used, carpet dries very quickly. |

· Carpet dries very quickly · Good for light soil conditions · Better for loop pile than cut pile carpet · Leaves minimal residue · Ideal for difficult to reach jobsites |
